Your Curated Infrastructure Marketplace
Platform teams define the catalog. Developers deploy in clicks. Full governance, zero friction.
The Challenge
"I need to give developers self-service without losing control over what they deploy and how they deploy it.
Platform teams face an impossible trade-off: lock everything down and become a bottleneck, or open everything up and lose governance. The catalog should be curated, not chaotic.
You Define It. They Deploy It.
Knodex builds on Kro's ResourceGraphDefinitions (RGDs), the open-source building blocks that define infrastructure as resource graphs. We enhance them with simple annotations that surface your RGDs in a polished, searchable catalog UI. From there, Knodex parses the RGD schema and recreates every YAML specification as a well-designed deployment form: typed inputs, smart defaults, validation, and resource pickers, so developers never touch YAML. Platform teams add categories, tags, and project-level visibility. The result: your Kro definitions, elevated into a governed self-service experience.
Built for Platform Teams
Every capability designed to give you control while giving developers speed
Annotation-Driven Catalog Management
One annotation makes a service visible in the catalog. Add category, tags, description, and version, all through standard Kubernetes metadata. No separate configuration layer.
Schema-to-Form Generation
Define parameters in a schema, and Knodex generates the deployment form automatically. Strings become text inputs, integers become number fields, booleans become toggles. Zero frontend work.
Category & Tag Organization
Organize services by category (databases, networking, monitoring, security), each with its own icon. Add tags for granular filtering. Developers find what they need in seconds.
Real-Time Validation
Catch configuration mistakes before deployment. Required fields, type checking, and constraint validation give developers instant feedback as they fill out the form.
Advanced Config with Secure Defaults
Show developers only the fields they need. Resource limits, security contexts, and replica counts stay hidden behind a toggle, pre-filled with secure defaults you define.
Smart Resource Pickers
When services reference existing infrastructure, Knodex renders a dropdown populated from the cluster. Developers select existing databases or config maps instead of copy-pasting resource names.
